Church musicians are called to proclaim the Gospel through the universal language of music. Since every Mass participates in the eternal, heavenly liturgy, the music ministry at St. Joseph strives to provide liturgical music that is worthy of this great calling.

We serve all parishioners and visitors by enhancing the prayer of our worshiping community. We seek to use music that not only encourages participation, but also lifts our hearts and minds to heaven.

We serve our music ministry volunteers by helping them to develop their God-given gifts and talents. Through our rehearsal process, we are not only refining our art in service of the Church, but we are also preparing our hearts, minds, and voices to enter into the holy sacrifice of the Mass.

Our Choirs

Adult Choir - 4:00 PM Saturday Mass

The Parish Choir sings from the Church's treasury of sacred music each Saturday. Join this group if you would like to sing beautiful choral music that will nourish you musically and spiritually. No prior musical experience is necessary, only the ability to match pitch. Music Director and organist, Mr. Nicholas Stampone, and Adult Choir Director, Allison Fay, can help you make the most of the instrument that God gave you, your voice! Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM; all rehearsals are in the Choir Loft. Children's Choir

Family Masses for Religious Education, Special Events, and Concerts

The St. Joseph Children's Choir, directed by Mr. Nicholas Stampone, is open to children in grades 2 and up. Rehearsals are held on most Sundays following the 10:30 AM Mass in the Religious Education meeting room, as well as on Sunday mornings at 8:20 AM before family Masses.
