COVID-19 Updates

June 1, 2020

Dear Parishioners:

Our church will open for Masses beginning June 13th with the 4:00 P.M. liturgy.  On Sunday, June 14th, we will begin with an abbreviated schedule to accommodate our parishioners and cleaning crew.  Sunday Masses will be at 7:30 A.M. (no 9:00 A.M., reserved Masses will be celebrated privately), 10:30 A.M., and 12 noon (Spanish). Daily 7:00 A.M. Masses will resume on June 15th.

According to Governor Lamont, our liturgies should have no more than 100 people present.  Our parishioners will be asked to wear protective masks and to abide by the six-foot social distancing markers in the church.  Those who have come in contact with Covid-19 Patients and those suffering from a sore throat, high temperature or fatigue should view the Mass either online or on television.

According to guidelines from Bishop Caggiano, there may be no hymnals, missalettes, fliers or bulletins in church.  Kindly view the bulletin online.  There may be no choirs.  Responsorial hymns may not be sung.  We shall recite them instead.  Msgr. Bernelli, Fr. Petrucci and I will not be in processionals or recessionals at this time.  Collection baskets may not be passed.  Kindly leave your donations in the alms boxes located in the middle aisle.  We truly need your financial assistance at this difficult time.

While it will be good to return to Masses together, all of these precautions must be taken.  The Bishop is asking that parishioners R.S.V.P. for Masses.  Kindly email the rectory at to let us know of your attendance. I absolutely look forward to celebrating Mass with you present.

In Christ,

Reverend Michael F. Dogali
