Another busy week at
St. Joseph School!
Basketball camp was well attended in spite of
the heat. The
building has been scrubbed and waxed and now it shines!
The furniture still needs to be placed back in the
classrooms, but other than that, we're ready to go!
Our Home-School
Association’s Executive Board met recently at the
home of Sharon DeDonato, one of its new co-presidents, to
plan activities for the 2010-11 school year.
Nick Searles is the other co-president and other
officers are vice presidents Angela Mantero and Brad Tobin;
secretary DeeAnn MacDaniel and treasurer
Bob DeMarco.
The Executive Board has planned some great events to
benefit our school and our students during this coming year.
You will be soon be hearing about the
details for three fundraising activities to benefit our
school: our golf
outing (originally scheduled for July 19 but postponed due
to a scheduling conflict), our Walk-A-Thon (a great way for
families to not only enjoy a nice day together but at the
same time help raise funds for our school), and our next
25-Week Dinner Club (start putting together a table of
family and friends).
